Hot Springs IS a party!
There's always something going on,
and you'll find Spa City members are usually in the middle of the action.
Some of our favorite places to go, things  to do, and performers to see are on this page!
If you find you're in town with nothing to do - email us!
We can tell you where to hook-up with some great people and great fun.
Dayton Waters: Hot Springs # 1 Solo Performer

Dayton is the most talented 12-string acoustical guitarist, soloist, and song-writer
you will ever have the good fortune of meeting.
He gives heart and soul to every performance.
Dayton plays in pubs all around Hot Springs and in Texarkana, in Fort Smith,
and other cities in Arkansas, as well as the surrounding states.
You will need to bookmark his website calendar just to keep track of where he's performing next!
Be sure to catch a performance soon; the day is rapidly approaching when we will be saying
"I knew Dayton back when . . . ."
Also, visit Dayton's website and you can also hear some of his original music.
Dayton's  "Leather and Gasoline" CD will take up permanent residence in your CD player!

Don't miss a performance!

Smyly's Crab Shack
Smyly's, on Lake Hamilton, is THE weekend place to be.
We make it a point to check out the local entertainment wherever we travel; and we haven't found a band that can
out-perform Hell's Kitchen. They are without a doubt the best and most versatile band in Arkansas
(or anywhere else, for that matter).
They generally take the stage around 9:00, and by 10:00 it's nearly always "SRO" - Standing Room Only.
So go early, get  a table (inside if you want to hear the band, or you can go out on the deck beside the lake),
and enjoy dinner before the band starts.
The staff is friendly, the food is good - it's a "crab shack" so of course, the crab is the best thing on the menu.

Spa City Connections has been holding our Friday-Night Warm-ups at Smyly's for 5 years -
And it's ALWAYS a rocking good time!
The Big Chill
On Higdon Ferry, close to the Race Track and easily accessed from the 270 Bypass,
The Big Chill is THE premier venue for live music and great entertainment.
The stage and dance floor are upstairs, pool tables are downstairs,
and there is a nice deck for warm weather get-togethers.
The Big Chill is host for some talented performers, practically every night, starting around 8:00.
Get there early, by 10:00 it's nearly always "SRO" - Standing Room Only.
The staff is VERY friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, the food is good (try the shrimp salad),
and ask for one of David's "dirty martinis". They are to die for!.

"There's no time to have a bad time at the Big Chill!"
